Zapier & Make Integration

Trigger Zapier Zaps or Make scenarios when QuietDiff detects a change, then route the alert to Slack, email, your CRM, or anywhere else.

Zapier Setup

Use Zapier's "Webhooks by Zapier" trigger to receive QuietDiff change alerts.

  1. In Zapier, create a new Zap
  2. Choose Webhooks by Zapier as the trigger
  3. Select Catch Hook
  4. Copy the webhook URL Zapier generates
  5. In QuietDiff, go to Settings → Notifications
  6. Add a Webhook channel and paste the Zapier URL
  7. Trigger a test by making a small change to one of your monitored pages (or wait for a real change)
  8. Back in Zapier, click "Test trigger" to pull in the sample webhook

Make (Integromat) Setup

Make's Custom Webhook module receives QuietDiff alerts in the same format.

  1. In Make, create a new scenario
  2. Add a Webhooks → Custom Webhook module as the trigger
  3. Click "Add" to create a new webhook, then copy the URL
  4. In QuietDiff Settings, add the Make webhook URL
  5. Make a test change or wait for QuietDiff to detect one
  6. In Make, click "Determine data structure" to capture the webhook payload

Webhook Payload Structure

QuietDiff sends this JSON when a change is detected. Map these fields in your Zap or Make scenario:

{
  "event": "alert",
  "alert": {
    "id": "alert_abc123",
    "type": "CHANGE",
    "subject": "Stripe pricing page changed",
    "message": "Price changed: Pro plan now $99/mo (was $89/mo)",
    "createdAt": "2026-11-04T20:00:00Z"
  },
  "change": {
    "id": "change_xyz789",
    "monitor": {
      "id": "mon_123",
      "name": "Stripe Pricing",
      "url": "https://stripe.com/pricing"
    },
    "field": "pro_price",
    "oldValue": "$89/month",
    "newValue": "$99/month",
    "changeType": "price_change",
    "summary": "Pro plan increased from $89 to $99 per month",
    "significance": "SIGNIFICANT",
    "createdAt": "2026-11-04T20:00:00Z"
  }
}

Example Field Mapping (Zapier)

When setting up your Zap actions, map these fields:

  • Monitor name: change.monitor.name
  • Monitor URL: change.monitor.url
  • What changed: change.field
  • Old value: change.oldValue
  • New value: change.newValue
  • Summary: change.summary
  • Alert subject: alert.subject
  • Alert message: alert.message

Example Field Mapping (Make)

In Make modules, reference webhook data like this:

  • Monitor name: change → monitor → name
  • Old vs new: change → oldValue and change → newValue
  • Summary: change → summary

Make will show available fields after you've received the first webhook.

Common Use Cases

  • Slack notification: Post change.summary to a Slack channel when a competitor pricing page changes
  • Email alert: Send an email with alert.subject and change.summary to your sales team
  • Add to CRM: Create a task in Salesforce or HubSpot when a competitor updates their features
  • Update spreadsheet: Log changes to Google Sheets with change.monitor.name, change.oldValue, change.newValue, and alert.createdAt
  • Filter by significance: Only trigger actions when change.significance equals SIGNIFICANT or CRITICAL

Webhook Security

QuietDiff webhooks include an HMAC signature in the X-QuietDiff-Signature header when you provide a webhook secret.

To add a secret:

  1. Go to QuietDiff Settings → Notifications
  2. Edit your webhook channel
  3. Add a webhook secret (any random string)

In Zapier or Make, verify the signature by comparing:

HMAC-SHA256(request_body, your_secret) === X-QuietDiff-Signature

This is optional but recommended if your webhook URL is publicly accessible.
